Bottom row, left to right: yet another UPS, sco, two customer servers, george.
Top row left: sco's keyboard and screen (almost always off).
The pizza box under the keyboard is ohura.gaertner.de, a Sparc2 still running SunOS 4.1.2. Ohura was our very first machine. We founded Gärtner Datensysteme in 1993 with the following equipment: Ohura, a PostScript laser printer, and some official letterhead.
When Stefan Gärtner chose the hostname for the box,
he thought of Ltnt. Uhura of Some Starship boldly going where
nobody went before. He mistyped it, though, and that
laid the foundation for our series of misspelled hostnames.
